2 > 3 + 4 generations ::.
the rev dr ken fong once challenged his 2nd generation parents on the issue of when will they stop referring to their family as a chinese family as he continued to guide their attention to the fact that their grandchildren are all mixed and don't speak a lick of canto.

change happens. this is a major consideration toward my thinking about asian-american ministry or the way we do "church". we're in transitional waters now especially here in the east coast. the next generation of my family is already at that point where i cannot simply call us a chinese family anymore.

kamryn baby ::.a fresh addition to my extended family...:: kamryn chi ::...five pounds...pure bred...she's unique to the family, cause, she'll be the only one of pure chinese blood in the new generations. so far, only girls have been born to the family bloodlines and they've all got the x-factor to break some hearts in the future. serious.
